I think this is an amazing deal for a pair of boots you don't see too often.  I would venture to say these are more late 1940's than 1950's based on the lower heels.  Oh, how I love them toe tracks.

I'd pay no more than a grand for these if they were my size and I'm sure they'd sell for at least that much if they were smaller in size and and height.  Taller engieer boots tend to not sell for too much. 


















Here's an update on my Toy's McCoy Horsehide Becks.  I've had them now for over two years and these (as well as The Real McCoy Buco's) are built like tanks.  The wear is coming through perfectly.  The bright brass buckles have faded and look more like a patina'd nickel.  I just love these boots!
