I've been a fan of Deke's since the early '90's when he fronted the Dave and Deck Combo and have tracked his journey to the now world-famous Guitar Geek Festival. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to attend any of the festivals as I've been deployed every time, but hope to catch his next one.

While he's not busy with his full-time music career, this guitar aficionado writes for magazines such as Guitar Player, Fretboard Journal and Vintage guitar, so you know his blog is filled with a wealth of information. His blog contains rare photos and rare interviews with popular musicians and luthiers from days gone by.
