MY LATEST MEDAL

After months and months of waiting, my Detachment of Marines have finally been awarded the NATO ISAF/Afghanistan Medal for our combat deployment.  Although it's not the most senior medal on my chest, it's definitely the flashiest with its lurex tracks.

I can finally prepare my medals for the upcoming Marine Corps Birthday Ball in November.
