MODIFIED 1930'S CUSHMAN ENGINEER BOOTS

Changing the color of your leather outsoles can transform a pair of somewhat bland Engineer Boots into something with flavor.  Here, the folks at McFly show how this looks on their 1930's style Cushman's with only a few bucks, using sandpaper and some brown dye.

I performed something similar about a year or two ago with my Buco Engineer Boots using only brown Kiwi shoe polish, which is why the brown appears faded and uneven.  I plan on redoing these again using actual brown dye.
