1940'S HORSEHIDE LEATHER JACKET

Here's a pair of great looking jackets (at least the first jacket is nice) made by the Leather Garments company from Ontario, California.

I remember really wanting this first one some years ago when it was up at auction, but don't remember why I passed it up.  It was obviously well preserved and has great deco detailing and amazing patina highly saught after in vintage jackets nowadays.

I don't have the sales details, but I think this jacket went for pocket change...well under four bills?

This one didn't stand up too well over the years, sustaining paint splatters and holes.
