1937 TROUSERS

The folks at Warp and Woof obtained a really cool pair of 1937 trousers made by The Warner & Bailey Company, dated 6-7-37 . Looks like they're in the process of reproducing them.

I would consider Warp and Woof one of the top Japanese company's out there pushing out top-notch reproduction 1930's workwear clothing.

Here is a photo I found of a gentleman, from 1937, wearing similar trousers with side cinch straps. Mister Freedom incorporated these style of straps on his series of Rider trousers (Rider Dungarees, Chino Riders and Midnight Riders).  Check out this guys wool plaid jacket with side buckles - looks like a "Herc."

  1. My great great grandfather was one of the Warners of Warner & Bailey. Awesome to see his work.

  2. Wow, thanks so much for sharing! I bet he would have never guessed that after so many years, these clothes would be so popular.

    Cheers!
