1950's WELGRUME DAY-GLO CABLE KNIT SHIRTS

Here is another installment of cable knit shirts that was once a big money maker. Made by Welgrum, these "Day Glo" shirts are made of a loose-knit body and bright, flourescent-colored satin front with detailed images of mainly animals.  Now that most 1950's clothing is going for pocket change compared to its value just a year or two ago, these shirts have been selling for about $100.  In its heyday, these shirts didn't sell for anything less than $300.
