A Marine with Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, strikes at multiple opponents of a “fight through” course after being sprayed with pepper spray during the culminating event of the unit’s public disorder and non-lethal weapons employment training. Experiencing OC spray ensures Marines understand the effects and, if cross-contaminated during use, they are able to fight through the pain and perform their job.
