1950'S ENGINEER BOOTS

Knowledge is power and the win goes to the seller on this auction. These Vintage Engineer Boots, circa 1950's, have features sought after by collectors such has the half-soles, toe tracks and Chippewa-style buckles and an overall great profile.  However, these boots were typically found at the local dry goods / general store and are made with substandard leather - split and grain cowhide.  I wouldn't mind owning them...at two bills, tops.  Nine-hundred bills is a bit over the top for these "budget boots."  For that money, one could obtain a similar looking pair of Toys McCoys Beck Engineer Boots that are constructed like tanks.
