Mister Freedom himself, Christophe Loiron, has revealed by far the coolest pair of RC's I've seen. If you're familiar with these boots, then you know one doesn't have to wait sixty years to achieve this amazing and highly desired patinaed look. The photos show the result of two years of extensive wear.
The second you put them on and wear them in, they begin to develop characteristics around your movements and level of wear making them unique to you and not the countless other people who have owned that vintage pair before you.
If you've been mulling over these boots, take one look at these and it's clear what you're missing. They retail for $949.95, but any Engineer Boot collector knows that if these were vintage and offered at auction they would easily sell for much, much more. You can wait months even years in an attempt to obtain a vintage pair of this caliber...if you can outbid the endless number of other collectors. The choice is clear.
The work was done by Raul Ojeda at Willie's Shoe Service just down the street from the Mister Freedom shop.

I've been contacted by quite a number of folks who personally thanked me for inspiring them to purchase these boots. I thought that was awesome, but I'm not just an advocate of these boots, I'm also a proud owner.
