Time flies when you're having a blast and the past seven years is definitely no exception. It's been almost twelve years since we started this journey together and meeting Jillian has been the best thing that could have ever happened to me.

I never enjoyed this song more than I did as it played in background during Jillian's march down the aisle.

Jillian painstakingly planned and prepared the entire wedding herself and had the idea of having the wedding party, following the ceremony, enter to Franky Lyman's Itty Bitty Pretty One as we headed to the dance floor for a pre-reception dance. It couldn't have been any more perfect.

Since I proposed to Jillian at the a Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys Christmas show (caught on tape by the wonderful Elizabeth Blozan and used on her Rebel Beat video), it was fitting to have the band play at our wedding; unfortunately they were touring overseas.

A great alternate choice fitting for the occasion was Vicky Tafoya and her Big Beat. On top of that Jillian was also able to book Eddie Nichols of Royal Crown Revue to perform with Vicky as their acapella Doo Wop group, the Redondos. Again, another perfect choice.

Happy Anniversary, Princess!  Thank you for all that you do!  Here's to the rest of our lives.
