Width: 3 1/2"
Soles: Leather
Leather: Oil Tanned Grain
Hardware: Brass
Sold For: $245.00 / 1 Bids

As you can see, the Red Band quality boots were not the highest quality made available to "Monkey" Wards customers; however the selling price on these are enough to make any collector very happy.  I'm not sure how long they were up at auction for, but kudos to the winner!  Based on recent history, these Vintage Engineer Boots should have sold for much more.

Also, one thing to note is that this is a quality standard rather than a model type of Engineer Boot.

Note the curved buckle on these 12" boys "Blue Band" Engineer Boots from a 1947 Montgomery Wards Engineer Boots.  They are the kind used on the above eBay boots.
