RISING SUN & CO.: JEANS OF THE OLD WEST BOOK RELEASE PARTY AND MUCH MORE

I know what I'll be doing this Saturday - see you there!!

Some speculate that Julian is the man behind the Mister Freedom Road Champ Engineer Boots; I'll have to agree.

Rising Sun's Mike Hodis commissioned Julian to creat a pair of WWI-style workwear boots - only five have been made and will all be available for "enthusiasts to look at, try on, and purchase."  I'll bet money that not all attendees will be able to see these boots as they'll all be scooped up by 6:05 pm

Not the boots at this upcoming event, but an idea of Julian's amazing work

  1. Sure does look like the Bowery, doesn't it? The Bowery has three upper wye hooks, though. Perhaps Julian played a role in it's design.

  5. Tell me about it, right?!? He has a site (http://julianboots.net/), but has a rep for not returning e-mails/contacts. Nice boots on the site, though. I was at the Rose Bowl the other day and ran into him. He was diggin' my original 1940's workwear boots and because they were (and still are) near deadstock, he thought they were repro's.
