I listened to all kinds of music growin' up. In the early 90's, besides Doo Wop and 1950's Rock N Roll, I found myself listening to a lot of Big Band/Swing and Jazz music. I purchased a lot of these records at a local Los Angeles thrift shop called Saint Vincent De Paul Thift Store - not sure if they're still in business, but this is also the place that started my vintage clothing collection.
I picked up a couple of Lena's records here and was a big fan from the start.
Till the clouds roll by, may you rest in peace at Cotton Club in the sky.
