Here's a great advertisement for a pair of 1953 Chippewa "Engineer's" Boots with steel toes and brass buckles. No longer must we use a generic term like "stacked heels" when describing tall leather heels, but rather "Woodsman" heels.

In this advertisement from the same catalog, the use of "Engineer" Boots is used - I refuse to change the title of my Blog
