WHITE J.CREW CHAMBRAY CHINSTRAP SHIRT

For those contemplating the $98.00 purchase of the J.Crew Chambray shirt, but are weary about sizing and don't want to bother with the hassle of returning the shirt, I've provided measurements and photo's of a size Small I've recently purchased.

The color is more of an off-white, but not so much an egg shell - definitely has that worn-in look.  Unlike your current-day shirts, this one is made to fit slim and has high arm holes just like you'd expect from a vintage shirt.  This shirt, IMO, fits true to size.  I wear a vintage size 38 and I couldn't be more happy with the fit of the Small.

No other American company currently has a white vintage-style chinstrap shirt, except for Mister Freedom ($200+), that I know about and at $98.00 I feel that this shirt is worth every penny.  Sure, the Japanese market has them, but you'll pay over $200 as well.

Here are the measurments:
Chest (from side to side at pit accross front - not seam to seam): 21"
Shoulder (from shoulder seam accross upper back) : 17 7/8"
Sleeve (from shoulder seam down to cuff end): 25 1/4"
Length (from back collar seam down back to hem): 29 7/8"

Has single pleated yoke.

Has hidden collar buttons.  Buttons are an egg shell color and shirt stitching is light beige.

Has vintage-style side gussets and Union-style tag.
