"I chose a (motor) Patrol Toe (PT) last to have these boots built on, a nod to traditional 30's motorcycle boot design.

"These boots were custom designed (by an individual not a company) as a perfect reproduction of 1930's motorcycle boots and custom built by WESCO boot company, in my opinion the most authentic manufacturer still doing it the same way they did 85 years ago, in the USA. My custom boots took 18 weeks to build and arrive, the wait was well worth it. These will arrive at the winning bidders house in a little over a week! The Wesco boot company hit a milestone in 1954 when Marlon Brando wore Wesco Boss boots in his classic movie The Wild One. You can read more about the company on their website (www.westcoastshoe.com) ...onto the details...These are Wesco 10" Boss Motorcycle boots, Ive started to break these in but as you see from the picture they have a LONG way to go and many years of life in them, the sole still retains most (about 80%) of its original tread (including the smallest texture detailing which is the first to go), The slight creasing and patina on the boot only makes them look more authentic. Nickel plated buckles, Double needle heavy duty white cord sole stitching, Contrast dark brown upper stitching, Full grain leather, Rolled leather top facing, Full leather counter pocket, Permanently formed Stytherm (the strongest counter material) counter, Full leather vamp lined with leather, Hard toe, Non corrosive steel shank, Sweat resistant full leather insole, Full leather midsole, Leather heel base, OrthoLite Drilex Comfort Foam slip in Inserts. They are sized a US 11, Measurements taken on the sole are from heel to toe - 13 inches. At the widest point 4 5/8 inches. From ground to top of boot (standing up on ground) the height measures 11 1/2 inches. You will be hard pressed to find a better pair of boots created in such an authentic 1930's brown two tone style and can rest assured to never see another cat wearing the same boots as you."
