There's nothing more exciting for me than to receive a brand new pair of Engineer Boots in the mail. It's even more exciting when it's a pair freshly modified by one of the premier Cobblers, Mr. Takeshi Okuyama.
On 15 August, I sent my boots to the shop for a simple request to have the Wesco Boss MP Toes - gifted to me by Michael - resoled pulling an example from his blog and on 27 October I received them back from Tokyo exactly the way I hoped for. It's really not a long wait for something that's sure to blow you away.

This is only the second pair I've sent to him, but plan on sending him quite a few more from my collection. My Mister Freedom© Road Champs were the first to be worked on.

Mike, glad you approve!! The "underhang" of the top heel is a bit more than I was hoping, but unless something is specified, Okuyama will work the same magic he's done for every other pair of boots. Thanks again!!!
