ANOTHER "NOT HORSEHIDE" STORY

Knowledge is power ... that'll save you money in the end. Contrary to popular belief, not all vintage engineer boots were constructed using Horsehide leather. I've researched boots for a over couple of decades, but it doesn't take much to notice that American companies were proud of their Horsehide (HH) offerings by stamping/embossing "Horsehide" on their footwear and stating it in their advertisements. I can assure you that Blue Band -- a level of footwear quality and not a model -- by Montgomery Ward were never made with HH. It's clear as black and white.
