Finally!  A pair of Vintage Engineer Boots worth mentioning.  It's been a while since a great pair of boots hit the world wide auction block and this pair of Red Wings is the epitome of what a mid-century Engineer Boot silhouette looks like.  Notice the deep, rich brass buckles ... not plated like others.  The natural leather patina and unique wrinkling on the horsehide are just amazing.  And the stacked heels ... these are all indicative of  true collectors piece.

In amazing condition for their age, they would be worth a little more to me as a buyer - I wouldn't hesitate to drop a couple more bills on these, so congrats to the buyer on winning the BIN race.  It's clear these would sell for well over double the BIN price in other places around the globe.
