COWHIDE AND SHELL CORDOVAN HORSEHIDE

I finally found enough time to complete the belt for Innis at Fine Light Trading using a 9oz cowhide strap that I hand-cut and dyed.  I used nickel studs as well as black and red jewels with hair-on-hide insets.  This was the very first time I studded letters, but Innis challenged me and I'm super happy with the results.

The FLT wallet will be coming soon...

Along the way, I put together another special card wallet using 4oz hand-dyed cowhide for the outer portion and Shell Cordovan Horsehide for the card pockets.  I really enjoyed working with this high-quality leather and have a super challenging project involving a belt strap with the same leather with lots and lots of studs.  I can't wait!
