WARP AND WOOF ENGINEER BOOTS

Looks like folks at Warp and Woof  are gearin' up to release some Engineer Boots.

Now I'm not sure what's going on here, but they either found a pair of deadstock Lee Engineer Boots with insane Woodsman heels or created a really good looking reproduction of Vintage Engineer Boots.  Frankly, I've never heard of Lee making Engineer Boots and these look somewhat original - The grainy photos don't help much.

When/if they release these, we can expect them to be available for at least $800 and up to about $1,200+ depending on the type of leather they use.  These look to made of Horsehide.

Again, I'm not too sure what to think about these boots.  Is it their prototype or an original they found?  The spots seem a bit large (1/4") compared to the original below (3/16").  Check out the D-buckles.  These, too, appear to made of Horsehide.

I anticipate these being offered for no less than a grand.  Either way, I can't wait 'til they're finally offered.

This photo leads me to believe the Engineer Boots are their prototypes as they have photos of the Chukka boots (foreground) being made.
