AMERICAN PICKERS INDIAN RACING JERSEY FIND

Looks like "American Pickers" Mike Wolfe unearthed an Indian Racing Jersey.  The episode airs Monday, 6 June.  I can't wait to see what their stated value of this jersey is going to be...should be a good episode.

Update: If you didn't see the episode, Mike offered $200 for the jersey and the surprised seller quickly accepted. It was the "to be appraised" item of the show and was appraised at $5-600 in it's super moth-holed condition. The seller's father was an Indian motorcycle dealer and there were also original 30's/40's women's jodhpurs, jackets and chainstiched overalls that went to the pickers.

Season 3, Episode 2 - "An Indian Reunion"

"In Florida, Mike and Frank visit a hangar-sized barn full of treasures, owned by a couple of junkyard junkies who've been picking since 1948. An awesome circus property turned animal preserve features lions, tigers and bears among circus paraphernalia and a mysterious locked trunk. And while freestyling, the guys come to a screeching halt after spotting a zebra-striped vintage motorbike in a yard. The collection is an Indian's dream. A major score leads to an unlikely reunion at a vintage motorbike museum."

  1. Oddly, I saw this or one similar hanging in the episode that aired last week that focused on the Civil War. I always wondered if they ever looked at the scrap heaps of denim that surely lie in some of the barns they pick through.
