1960's ENGINEER BOOTS

Hmmm, I'm not all too sure why these sold for so much.  Sure they have an attractive toe profile, toe tracks and brass buckles, but they definitely need a some sole and heel work.  A complete rebuild from a reputable cobbler can cost, at a minimum, a bill and a half - in the end, that's in the territory of Mister Freedom Road Champ money right there.  There's no way I'd have paid more than two and a half bills for these.  I guess congratulations go to the seller?
