1950'S J.C.PENNEY CO. BIG MAC HORSEHIDE ENGINEER BOOTS
Even though one can obtain a similar look with a pair of 1980's/1990's Engineer Boots, there's just something uniquely aesthetically pleasing about these rare deadstock boots.
That is a nice pair. For some reason, I really like the old Penney's boots, and I've been wondering about them lately. I have an old Sears pair, and everyone seems to know they were made by Chippewa. I also have a pair from Penney's, and I wonder who made them? I am tempted to say Red Wing, because of the square buckles, and compared to the way they look next to the Sears pair. But I will probably never know for sure.
Hola Ray! Aren't these great!?! Well...seeing as Penney's was a big deal during that time, they most certainly would have contracted a reputable company for their boots.
The boots are similar to a bunch of 1950's Red Wings I've seen.
