Not a bad deal on this 1930's riding cap. Three years ago, you could expect to pay at least three times this amount even in this condition. These appear on the auction block a couple/few times a year, so be sure to snatch them up when you can.
Look for the duck cotton lining. This is indicative of an early riding cap. If a seller claims their cap with black satin lining is from the 1930's, you know it isn't true.
