Here's a nice pair of Engineer Boots with a very desired patina and toe profile. The price is about right for these boots. Anything above six bills would be a bit off target - nothing too spectacular about them to render a higher price. This brand and profile have become very common on the Bay lately, so expect the price to level off at about $400 - $500.

Nice boots, but I can't imagine ever paying that kind of money for a pair of beaten-up boots. I know that the patina is a big draw, but $511? Phew. That's a lot of sausages.
ReplyDeleteI hear what you're saying, Mick - I'd love to find a great pair for under $300, but there are just too many collectors out there that standard has been set at five and up.
ReplyDeleteCheers!!
