There really haven't been any GREAT Engineer Boots available lately, so it was inevitable that this pair sold for so much.  This wonderful pair of vintage 1950's Engineer Boots are just perfectly worn in, but not worn out - I'm definitely digging the toe box on this one.  The price was definitely good, but I wouldn't have gone beyond eight myself.
Another pair of boots that were built to last and with the fade into the awesome dark brown color, they will definitely look better and better with age.
