1956 STATLER WORK BOOTS & SHOES CATALOG

I rarely feature active eBay items, but here's one worth sharing.  This neat 35-page catalog is being sold by litzker - I have no affiliation with this seller.

There is much to be learned from this catalog.  Although there are some boots/shoes that maintain the same style for years, boots being listed for sale as circa "1940's" or even "1930's" on eBay should be questioned.

Look at the very close similiarities between these boots that sold for over $200 a few years ago and the photo above (top left boot).  The stitching and welt is the same.  The only difference is the number of lace holes - perhaps more or less holes are present depending on boot size.  These boots were a size 8.
