There's no doubt in my mind these boots would have garnered a little more money had they been advertised as the J.C. Penney brand they are. Without any markings/labels; however, there's no telling ... unless you know your boots. These are 1960's Engineers all the way to Sunday and I personally think the final price is on point for their age, patina and wear. There's nothing spectacular about them, but because they're from Penney's makes them a nice addition to a growing collection and great candidates for a Brian tire rotation.
Know your brands. Know your boots. Save some money.
