Here's another contribution from VEB regular, Warren.  He states that these American classics had only fourteen views before the lucky bidder used the Buy It Now option.

There's something really amazing about how the Chippewa's were tanned back then that allows the leather to develop a patina that is second to none.  This pair was very well taken care of and no doubt would have brought in at least five more bills in a smaller size.
